Conas a dhéantar cur i láthair i gceart – How to do a presentation correctly

Le Kayleigh

Don tionscadal “Erasmus+” tá orainn go leor cur i láthair a dhéanamh agus mar gheall air seo, bhí orainn foghlaim:

“Conas a dhéantar cur i láthair i gceart?”

Ar dtús, bhí orainn a fháil i ngrúpaí agus taispeántas a réiteach ar Powerpoint. Bhí an chéad thionscnamh faoi Chaisleán Mullach Íde agus ár gcuid taighde air. Sular thosaigh muid, rinne Múinteoir Cian a chur i láthair féin, faoi conas cuir i láthair a dhéanamh, agus ansin bhí orainn an ceacht sin a úsáid isteach inár dtionscnaimh.

Tá go leor rogha ann faoi conas é a dhéanamh, ach is iad seo na rudaí is tábhachtaí a d’fhoghlaim mé féin is na daltaí eile atá i mo rang.

Bainistiú Ama; Níl aon duine ag iarraidh suí agus éist leat agus tú ar an sleamhnán ceanna do 5 nóiméad. Is smaoineamh maith é chun do chuid ama a réiteach, agus do chuid chur i láthair a chríochnú laistigh de dhá nó trí nóiméad.

Coinneal do chuid sleamhnán ag 15-30 soicind an cheann agus bí cinnte go bhfuil tú in ann caint laistigh don am atá tugtha duit.

Pictiúir; Is rud an-thábhachtach iad seo, cuireann siad shaol laistigh do do thionscnamh. Cuireann siad le do chuid cainte agus déanann siad an tionscnamh i bhfad níos suimiúla.

Caint; Is é seo príomhphointe eile i do chur i láthair, agus is é seo céard ba cheart duit díriú air de bharr is é seo conas a chuireann tú do smaoineamh i láthair. Déan cinnte go bhfuil do chuid cainte in am leis na pictiúir, agus go bhfuil luas réadúil agat is tú ag caint go soiléir, tá tuiscint tábhachtach le cuir i láthair.

Teanga an Choirp agus Teagmháil Súile; Tá tú féin mar phríomhphointe i do chur i láthair! Caithfidh tú a thaispeáint go bhfuil suim agat sa rud atá á thaispeáint agat, nó ní bheidh suim ag aon duine eile ann. Tá teagmháil súile an-thábhachtach freisin, ag caint go díreach leis an lucht féachana, is rud an-mhór é seo.

Níl anseo ach cúpla rud a d’fhoghlaim muid, agus is iad na cinn is tábhachtaí agus is éasca a dhéanamh, fiú má bhíonn tú féin neirbhíseach agus tú ag déanamh do chur i láthair féin!

Gan dabht, ní rud éasca é do gach duine, ach leis na rudaí seo gur úsáid muid, bhí sé an-chabhrach agus bhí ár gcuid cur i láthair níos fear ná mar a bhí riamh!

What did we learn?

For the “Erasmus +” project we have a lot of presentations and, as such, we had to learn; “How to make a presentation?”.

At first, we had to find groups and showcase our projects on PowerPoint. The first production was to do research on Malahide Castle. When we started, Muinteoir Cian presented one himself, and then we had to use what we learned in our own project.

There are a lot of options, but these are the most important tips that my classmates and I have learned.

How do you do a presentation?

Time management; No one is going to sit and listen to you while you’re on the same slide for 5 minutes. It is a good idea to start your project and present it within two or three minutes.

Keep your slides at 15-30 second and make sure that you are keep in time with each frame as you speak.

Pictures; These are wonderful, they put life into your project. They add to your talk and thoughts to make a much more interesting and engaging activity.

Talking; This is a key point in your presentation, and this is what you must focus on as this is how you present your idea. Make sure your talk is in place with the frames, and that you keep up a good pace and tone as you present your project.

Body Language and Eye Contact; You are a key point in your own presentation! You must show that you are interested in what you’re speaking about, or no one else will be interested. Use your hands and body to motion what you’re feeling while speaking. Eye contact with your audience is important as it shows you are intent on keeping their attention.

These are just a couple of things we learned, and the ones that are the most easy to put into practice, even if you’re nervous while you’re giving a presentation they can tremendously help!

Without a doubt, it’s not easy for everyone, but with these tips we used, it was helpful and a lot of fun and was one of the best presentations we gave!
